AD-GAMING Project (Development of a Training Program for the Improvement of Quality of Life of Persons with Alzheimer through “Serious Games”) aims to increase the technological and digital skills, as well as the ICT literacy of people with Alzheimer’s Disease, their families and caregivers through the use of ‘Serious Games’. In doing so, the research seeks to enhance the overall Quality of Life, social inclusion and well-being of this population.

The AD-GAMING Project will promote the equality and inclusion of people with Alzheimer’s Disease, enabling them to undertake an active role within their communities through gaming with their families and peers. Furthermore, it is hoped that developing people’s skills, competencies and confidence in using ICT, will encourage them to engage with other forms of technology to support their well-being, such as ICT-Based Assistive Technologies.
